The Cedar Rapids STEM Circle inspires middle and high school students through hands-on workshops, collaborative projects, and creative problem-solving, helping them explore science, technology, engineering, and math in a supportive, engaging environment.

Students were exposed to a variety of science fields, including biology, chemistry, environmental science, and physics.

Abhay Suri

Organizer

Abhay is a rising sophomore at Linn-Mar High School. He is interested in computer science with experience in robotics and web development. He also enjoys biking and soccer.

Yihan Richard Weng

Organizer

Yihan Richard Weng will be a Sophomore at Linn-Mar High School this fall. He is interested in CS and Math, and participates in various competitions. He likes to solve puzzles in his free time.

Kushagra Singh

Outreach Lead

Kushagra Singh is a rising sophmore at Linn-Mar High School. He is interested in engineering through robotics and Science Olympiad. He likes to eat and sleep in his free time.

George Joseph

Biology Lead

George is a rising sophomore passionate about biology. He excels in advanced courses and leads Science Olympiad, HOSA, and Red Cross. George seeks to become an anesthesiologist.

Engineering Mentor

Ahmed will be a freshman at Linn-Mar High School this fall. He is interested in coding and was key in his school's Lego League and MathCounts team success. He also enjoys watching Youtube Shorts.

Math & Biology Mentor

Ethan is a rising freshmen at Linn-Mar High School. He captained his school's MathCounts team. Outside of math, Ethan enjoys running, playing the violin, and Biology.

Science Mentor

Arya is a rising sophmore at Linn-Mar High school. He is interested in becoming a doctor, and does several medical activites. He also enjoys studying, watching Heimler's History, and eating.
